Dorfromantik, the tile-laying landscape builder from Toukana Interactive released on 28 April 2022, is the most-agreed-upon game here: 29,599 reviews across all languages, 28,511 positive, at Overwhelmingly Positive when we read the page on 11 September 2026.

You draw a hexagonal tile, rotate it and set it against the landscape you already have — forest to forest, river to river — and good placements add tiles back to the stack. It was US$9.09, 35% off US$13.99, Single-player with leaderboards, on Windows and macOS. A bad placement is never punished, only unrewarded, and free-build mode drops the run structure entirely.

You are handed a small set of buildings and score for placing them well: a house beside a windmill, a mansion away from the sawmill, and enough points buys the next island. It is a first-person spatial sorting puzzle: 2,080 hand-named potions on the floor, 26 shelves from Alpha to Omega plus a gold Sun shelf and a silver Moon shelf waiting for them.

A wrong slot does nothing at all — walk back, take the bottle out, try again — and a right one clicks in with a soft green glow. It is US$5.99 with a 10% launch discount, on Windows PC, with three difficulty levels up to a Purist mode with no assistance. The one structural thing it has that nothing else here does is other people: its Steam category list carries online co-op, split-screen co-op and a versus mode together. It sits ninth because sorting is a narrower puzzle than tile-laying or deduction.
